Update from January 25th. (Fri.)

Hello Everyone,
We began at CCF Beachwood at 8:30am with a Cat Scan of the Abdomen & Pelvic. Reports have it that organs are clear, there remains some bone signs of cancer ( however nothing aggressive).

We advanced to the downtown CCF for the remainder of the day. Things were on time. It was a rather pleasant day even though a little long.

X-rays of Chest & rt. shoulder shows that there is only some scare tissue at lung sight, but nothing new. Right Shoulder has a sm. spot, but quiet.

We ended our day at 2:00pm at the downtown CCF, and came home to relax for the evening. However, we did not go back out to eat.

My doctor thinks that we will continue as we are, which we agree with. There will be no more chemo. However if need be we will do more radiation ( as needed).

So now we wait for the doctor in Solon with the "ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE", Mainly diet change, and building up the immune system.

I feel good, Roosevelt is much better with the whole situation, and he is eating along with me and juicing. He loves to juice.

WE LOVE YOU ALL, AND CONTINUE TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS. WE ARE PRAYING FOR MANY OF YOU AS WELL.

Doctor's Appt.'s all day on Friday (1/25)

Hello Everyone,
Roosevelt & I will start the day out @ 8:30am at Beachwood Cleveland Clinic. I will be having a Cat Scan of abdomen & pelvis.

Then to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus for Chest x-ray & rt. shoulder ( to check why I was coughing last week & having pain in the back on right side).

Then of course as always blood work. Then I will see my Oncologist. Then I will see a new doctor named Dr. Ruth Lagman. She is a "Palliative Medicine" doctor. Something to do with the "Quality of Living". So I will see what she has to say. I won't see her until 1:00p. So we are looking at a very long day.

After that I told Roosevelt that we will go somewhere and get something to eat where I can have something off the menu. I don't think I will be coming home to cook.

Okay that is it for now. Of course I won't have much to report until probably next week.

Oh yes! about the "Alternative Medicine" doctor I am seeing in Solon. I have lots of homework to take back to him whenever they call me for an appt. The cooking is getting better. We are adjusting to the new way of eating , and enjoying it. However, I do feel that I have a "nursing job & cooking job", and I have to document so much for this doctor. However, it will be over in a couple weeks, and then I will see him. He is waiting for "TEST RESULTS" to come back before seeing me again." ROOSEVELT IS SOOOOOOOOOOO SUPPORTIVE OF ME. HE EATS WHAT I EAT, and I give him treats inbetween. He also does the juicing everyday.
TOGETHER WE WILL GET THROUGH ALL OF THIS " WITH THE LORD'S HELP ONLY, NOT ON OUR OWN STRENGTH. (zEC. 4:6).

I must say that now that I've been back on "steroids" since last Thurs. I have energy & I have
an appetite. I'm not in pain, however I do take a pain pill at night to help me sleep. I am not coughing anything like I was up til last Wed.
SO AS USUAL, we will see what's going on once all the TEST RESULTS are back.

Hello Dear Ones,
Before I get into my update, I'd just like to take a moment to Thank My Dear Friend Charles who set this blog up for me. I had never heard of a blog, and truly did not know how to use it. Every time I come to my computer I bring out the instructions that he gave me on how to use the blog. He no longer lives in OH. He is now happily married and living in Florida. I miss him so much, but I am so happy for him and his bride Susan.

Well, for health update:
I work a little bit, and I nap a little bit. Now that I am not taking the steroids I don't have that surge of energy that I had when I was taking them. However, I am glad to be off of the steroids.

My family and I have decided to use some alternative methods of healing to see if I can come up with a cancer free body. PLEASE LISTEN CLOSE! I WILL HAVE TO ALTER THE WAY I EAT, AND I WILL HAVE A BLOOD ALLERGY TEST DONE TO SEE WHAT FOODS "I" AM ALLERGIC TO.
NOW LOVED ONES, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT "WE (ME & MY FAMILY) ARE TOTALLY TRUSTING GOD IN THIS MATTER. (PROV.3:5-6)
PLEASE DON'T THINK THAT WE HAVE " GONE OFF THE DEEP END", AND THAT WE ARE NOT "PRAYING AND ASKING GOD TO BLESS OUR EFFORTS IN THIS ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF HEALING."
I will continue to see my doctor's at Cleveland Clinic. As a matter-a-fact I just received appts. in the mail for Feb. 7th. with my radiologist for follow-up, and Feb. 18th. with one of my oncologist.

So Dear Ones, let's pray that I can make the proper adjustment to this alternative way of eating, and that God will Bless it to HIS GLORY.

REMEMBER, OUR PURPOSE ON THIS EARTH IS " TO HONOR OR LORD JESUS IN ALL THINGS, AND ENJOY HIM FOREVER."
