Oraletta's Adventure

Being a member of the Family of God, which is both local and global; I would like to share specific issues about the adventure The Lord and I are on dealing with lung cancer. I want to do this so that those who are praying for me will be better informed.

The Lost has Returned

Hello out there Dear World!
I was so excited to learn on Feb.28th. that I was in remission that I took my blog into remission also.
Well, I am still in remission from the cancer as far as I know, but now I believe it is time for me to get back into the groove of blogging.

Truly I have missed you all so very much. As a matter a fact if I had not written my username & password down I would not be writing to you tonight. I actually forgot them.

Well my friends, all has been well. I now have enough hair to go to the hairdressers again. I'm loving it. I am no longer on prednisone, and the lungs appear to be doing well (at least I'm not coughing anymore). My energy level is up (and so is the weight), I'm working on that slowly.

I don't know if any of you have experienced having a second chance at life after having survived cancer twice. I must say that "EVERYTHING AND I DO MEAN EVERYTHING" becomes precious. You start to notice the little things that you used to take for granted. And oh yes! remember those things called "BIRTHDAY", Oh Dear Loved Ones when the Almighty gives you another chance at life ( not just one, but two: remember the breast cancer five yrs. ago) whatever you do seige every moment to "GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY HONOR & PRAISE". And just remember one thing, if you never get sick a day in your life, if you have all the money you could every want. If you have all that this earthly life can offer, just remember one thing; "The Lord Jesus" is truly worthy to be be praised. No matter where you are in life or what you have, it is all useless "WITH OUT JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR".

The Bible says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3: 16-17).

Now for those of you that don't understand this, and don't have a Bible go to the nearest Church on Sunday and ask the Pastor of that church what that means. Then let me know what he says.

Loving you all with the Love of Jesus,
Oraletta
